Pavol Kavka flew a total of 2950 flight hours on various types of single-engine and multi-engine piston aeroplanes, primarily the YAK 52. He is a flight instructor and inspector of the Traffic Office of the Slovak Republic. By profession, he is an air traffic controller with Approach and Tower Control qualifications and also an instructor on Approach and Tower Control simulators.
