IR is the training of pilots for the needs of IFR flights under meteorological conditions for flights according to IMC instruments. The basis of the training is flying according to the instruments together with increased requirements for the technique of piloting. Practical training of instrument approaches and descents takes place along with flights along the track.

Training is carried out at airports with adequate equipment.
