PPL (A)

PPL (A) is a basic license necessary to pursue a career as a transport pilot. A single-engine piston aeroplane, for which he has an appropriate type of training.

At the same time, this license is available to anyone interested in flying as a leisure activity, with flying being a hobby for them.

The aim of the training is to teach the trainee — the future pilot the correct procedure and habits in order to be able to conduct a safe and efficient flight according to the rules of flight in visibility (VFR).

Minimum requirements

Age of the applicant

The age of the applicant must be at least 15 years old at the time of commencement of training.

Minimum age for PPL (A)

A minimum age to obtain a PPL (A) license is 17 years old.

Radiotelephone Operator Certificate

After the start of training, he must be a holder of a radiotelephony license.

Medical fitness

Prior to the first solo flight, the applicant must hold a medical certificate 2. Classes.

Theoretical training

The theoretical part of the training consists of 100 teaching hours.

Teoretical classes are organized in our premises at the airport in Košice.

The result of the preparation is a theoretical examination at the Office Transport in Bratislava.
For a thorough preparation of the theoretical exam, each client has their own e-Learning account at their disposal.

Practical training

The practical part of the training consists of 45 flight hours.

Before the first flight, a physical familiarization with the aircraft is carried out at one of our airports, according to the manual for the type of aircraft.

After demonstrating knowledge of the manual, the pupil can begin to conduct flights with instructors, following each step by step.
