CPL (A) - Commercial pilot

CPL (A) is a license that authorizes a pilot to operate in commercial aviation. It allows him to act as the commander of a single-pilot aircraft, or as the first officer of a multi-pilot aircraft, or even as a flight instructor.

A pilot who holds a CPL (A) license can perform flights for a fee in commercial air transport.

he aim of the training is to train and prepare a private pilot with a PPL (A) license to obtain a CPL (A) license - commercial pilot.

The applicant must have a valid PPL (A) license

Minimum flight time of 150 hours (possible concessions based on achieved qualifications)

Human performance

As it is a CPL (A) license, the scope of required knowledge in the mentioned subjects is lower than for ATPL (A).

Practical teaching

Practical teaching has a total of 30 hours and is divided into 3 areas, in other words, phases:
1. Phase
15 flight hours focused on training conducted according to VFR rules
2. Phase
10 flight hours focused on instrument training under VMC conditions
3. Phase
5 flight hours focused on training conducted according to VFR night rules
Examination
Examination by an examiner and obtaining a commercial pilot’s license
